Why do politicians lack an internet presence?

Written by seocraze on Apr 8th, 2010 | Filed under: Internet Marketing

It seems that companies cannot do well unless they are online, marketing everywhere, sponsoring tournaments, setting up microsites, blogs, & rewards programs. How can politicians get their message out with a site, a blog, and a myspace page. I know they have excellent coverage in news, but it seems that we’re in a time when people want more and more information from the people they are going to elect.

  1. Most politicians do have web presences. You can generally find many sites for the politician you are interested in by typing their full name in a google or yahoo search. You can also get contact information for house reps by going to http://www.house.gov and for senate members by going to http://www.senate.gov. Some politicians also use .us as part of their email along with .gov.

  2. I think they do have web sites so they aren’t totally in the dark.
